Upgrade Instructions
plugin v1.5.4 > plugin v1.5.5
It is recommended to upgrade the 1.5.4 plugin to 1.5.5 in order to utilize more new features.
Please refer to the method described in the appendix at the end of the corresponding document in the v1.5.4 Access Guide to uninstall the old plug-in, and then re-install the new version of the plug-in according to the latest v1.5.5 Access Guide and Modify the configuration file on the gateway (e.g., OpenResty, etc.) and restart the gateway.
💡 Note:
When multiple plugins connect to the same site configuration at the same time (i.e., when there are multiple OpenResty servers with plugins installed proxying the same site), only the highest version of the plugin will be able to provide protection, and other lower versions of the plugin will automatically work in pass-through mode. It is recommended to upgrade the plugin version on all OpenResty servers at the same time.
Plugin v1.5.3 > Plugin v1.5.4
It is recommended to upgrade the 1.5.3 plugin to 1.5.4 in order to utilize more new features.
Please refer to the method described in the appendix at the end of the corresponding document in the v1.5.3 Access Guide to uninstall the old plug-in, and then re-install the new version of the plug-in according to the contents of the v1.5.4 Access Guide, and modify the gateways (e.g. OpenResty, etc.) on the new version of the plug-in. (e.g. OpenResty, etc.) and restart the gateway.
💡 Hint:
River Cloud management interface has been upgraded to v1.5.4. If you continue to use the plug-in of version 1.5.3, the Spared List and Blocked List in the new management interface cannot be enabled at the same time, and the Spared List function is the same as the Black/White List Configuration > Pass-through Requests Only function of version 1.5.3, and the Blocked List function is the same as the Checked Requests Only function of version 1.5.3. The Black/White List Configuration > Check Only the Following Requests feature is the same as the Block List feature in version 1.5.3.
Plugin v1.5.2 > Plugin v1.5.3
Please refer to the method described in the appendix at the end of the corresponding document in the v1.5.2 Access Guide to uninstall the old plug-in, and then re-install the new plug-in according to the contents of the v1.5.3 Access Guide, and then modify the gateway. (e.g. OpenResty, Nginx, etc.), and then restart the gateway.
Plugin v1.5.1 > Plugin v1.5.2
Please refer to the method described in the appendix at the end of the corresponding document in the v1.5.1 Access Guide to uninstall the old plug-in, and then follow the contents of the v1.5.2 Access Guide to install the new plug-in and modify the gateway. (e.g. OpenResty, Nginx, etc.), and then restart the gateway.
Plugin v1.5.0 > Plugin v1.5.1
Plugin v1.5.0 is compatible with the new features of v1.5.1 RiverCloud and does not need to be upgraded.
If you still wish to install the v1.5.1 version of the plug-in, please uninstall the old version of the plug-in by referring to the method described in the appendix at the end of the corresponding document in the v1.5.0 Access Guidelines, and then follow the contents of the v1.5.1 Access Guidelines for the new version. (/docs/v1.5.1/category/), install the new version of the plug-in and modify the configuration files on the gateway (e.g., OpenResty, Nginx, etc.), and then restart the gateway.
